As a mixed media artist with an emphasis on painting, from live art to teaching. During the last 20 years, my career in creativity has taken many different avenues.

 At 18 my mother gave me her old paints and I started painting.

All modalities of Art intrigue me, playing with clay or trying to capture that perfect moment with a photograph.   However, it is painting that I come back to over and over again.  I primarily work in Acrylic, using bright colors to catalyze a vision.   Sometimes the image is a deliberate creation, however most of the time it evolves during the process.

 I enjoy utilizing different surfaces and textures.  I love the way the brush feels as it drags across canvas, what it looks like when paint stains different wood, or how plaster sucks up the color like a dry desert floor.
